This class is the culmination of skills developed in CNC 1 & 2, focusing on the use of the Router Table. The router table is ideal for cutting sheet goods such as Plywood, MDF, vinyl and other wood like materials.
– How to understand wood types, grain, and develop effective cutting strategies
– Advanced CAM toolpath techniques specific to 4×8 sheet goods
– The use of proper hold down techniques for safety and part quality
– Proper selection of Router bits for your project and speeds and feeds and creating cut strategies that minimize tear-out and warping
– Working with veneer and inlay material
PRE-REQUISITE: CNC 1 & 2 required
This course will certify you to work on the 4’x8′ CNC Router Table
