Allen Pan (i.e. YouTuber SufficientlyAdvanced and LAM’s original Robotics Fellow), recently took over Hexlab Makerspace and relaunched it as SufficientSpace. We’re going over there to hang out and create low-cost robotics projects that kids can “Make and Take” home with them, regardless of financial ability.
Very few projects like that exist (we’re talking $5 and under), so hackers and innovators, let’s step in and solve for this.
Projects will be open-source, and used by LA Makerspace and our parent org Two Bit Circus Foundation in public libraries and schools.
Bring: tools, materials/components (only if they are cheap enough to scale in a final product), any sentient robots you have already built that you think can help, etc.
We will have stuff too, but if you already have an idea, bring what you need to make it.
