3D Printing 3: Industrial-grade 3D Printing with Stratasys

Class Overview:

This class is intended to introduce you to the world of 3-D printing and 3D modeling. 3D printing is an easy way to bring your ideas to life, prototype parts and create fun projects.

In this class you will learn how to operate a Stratasys brand Objet30 Prime 3D printer. This printer offers a wealth of exciting materials and printing resolution as low as 16 microns!

3D Printing and Machine Training is divided into 3 classes, as well as an assisted training help hour. We suggest you RSVP before all events. After attending 3D Printing 3 AND the assisted help hour you will be authorized to use the Objet30 3D Printer independently and you be able to set off on your 3D printing adventures (we are still here to help if needed of course)!

Be sure to attend the assisted help hour to practice using the machine and discuss more advanced printing techniques.

Age Requirement:

18 and up (exceptions can be made for ages 15-17 that are interested, and 12+ are ok if they attend with a parent)

After you take this intro class we encourage you to come in for the free assisted help hour. If you can’t make one of these monthly practice sessions we encourage you visit HexLab during open hours to practice and our staff can help answer any questions!
