3D Printing 1: Intro to 3D printing and hands-on training

(week 1 of 3)

Class Overview:

This class is intended to introduce you to the world of 3-D printing and 3D modeling. 3D printing is an easy way to bring your ideas to life, prototype parts and create fun projects.

In this class you will learn how to operate a standard 3D printer and take advantage of all benefits of this emerging technology. We are excited to share these skills with you!

3D Printing and Machine Training is divided into 3 classes, as well as an assisted training help hour. We suggest you RSVP before all events. After attending 3D Printing 1 you will be authorized to use the FDM style 3D Printers independently and you be able to set off on your 3D printing adventures (we are still here to help if needed of course) cialis sans ordonnance pas cher!

Be sure to attend 3D printing 2 and 3 to learn better machines and more advanced printing techniques.

Class Cost:

$35 for non-members
– or –
$25 for monthly members (you do not need to be a member to attend our classes, however, members do get discounts!) Learn about membership

Prequisites:

None

Age Requirement:

18 and up (exceptions can be made for ages 15-17 that are interested, and 12+ are ok if they attend with a parent)

After you take this intro class we encourage you to come in for the free assisted help hour. If you can’t make one of these monthly practice sessions we encourage you visit HexLab during open hours to practice and our staff can help answer any questions!
